Fall Farewell

On Tuesday, some of my coworkers had a "going away party" for me.  It was really encouraging to visit together and receive support from friends...There was such love poured out on me that I do not deserve!  Not everyone was able to come, but I did enjoy visiting with those who made it out.  Thanks to Joy for hosting the event!

I did not expect this, but I received some lovely going away gifts, including Canadian souvenirs to take with me on the ship.  I am excited to pass out stickers and pencils from Canada.  I also was given a Canadian t-shirt and a luggage tag to remind me of home!

We had a great campfire made by my coworker's husband.  It was perfect for our Costco hotdogs and yummy s'mores, eh? ;)  The evening was full of laughter and fun and fall weather, one of my most favourite times of the year.  I will miss this (time in Canada and time spent with dear friends), but know I will not be gone forever.
